Who Are You Going To Call? STH’s Fire Team, Of Course!

Fire pump acting up? Does your fire pump controller need troubleshooting? Jockey pump doesn’t run? Who are you going to call? STH’s Fire Team, of course! Every now and then we get asked what our Fire Team does. Some facility managers don’t know what to make of the team’s name. They have a point, until we mention what it was called before: “The STH Fire Pump and Controller, Jockey Pump and Controller, Service, Repair and Replacement Specialist Group”, complemented by our certified fire pump and controller technicians. A mouthful that was addressed some time ago with the new name.

So, the next question is: why have a “Fire Team”? Basically, the Fire Team was created out necessity. Sprinkler contractors need a partner solutions provider that will guide them through a design process, start-up process, and if needed, warranty help. End Users need a partner solutions provider that will guide them through a design process, bidding process, and expert advice to navigate through the complicated Fire Code which can be different according to county.

Our Fire Team has gotten so good, on occasions we provide Fire Marshall training sessions. As previously mentioned, the Fire Team is complemented by our talented, factory certified technicians. With their help, we can analyze fire pump tests and predict whether a fire pump can or will not pass its annual fire test. We are also able to recommend minor and major fire pump repairs, check if any of your fire/jockey pump controllers are obsolete, and help you, the end-user, through a replacement process if needed. Ask your sprinkler contractor who to call if your fire pump/controller needs work, and odds are they’ll say: “STH’s Fire Team, of course!”.

For more information regarding STH’s Fire Team, or any other pump solutions, give us a call at 301-682-3390, fill out our contact form, e-mail us at info@sthinc.com

or ask one of our technicians during your preventive maintenance visit.
